Adventures in Paradise

Adventures in Paradise designs high-end travel packages, primarily focused on sailing and warm-weather destinations. The goal here was to create the feeling of travel as it used to be and what says that more than stamps and postmarks? I also came up with the tagline "Wish You Were There." This was designed while I was an owner and partner of the design firm Grasp Creative.

Linden Mills

Linden Mills is the new name of a southern-Virginia kitchen cabinet company. The new owner wanted to move them into the high-end market and needed a logo and identity that would reflect this positioning change. A logo's primary purpose is to identity, not necessarily tell exactly what a company does or sells and since kitchen cabinets are basically fancy boxes, I steered the client toward emphasizing "high-end" more than anything else. After some back-and-forth, I cooked up a fancy F combined with a leaf in a seal that resembled a saw blade, and the client knew we had hit the mark.
